What are lunar days and what is a lunar day?

A lunar day is the period from one moonrise to the next; there are 29–30 in a cycle, and each lunar day has its own character.

✔ Avatarium breakdown
A lunar day is the period from one moonrise to the next. They do not coincide with ordinary calendar days and are usually slightly longer. A lunar month contains 29–30 of them, and each has its own number and, by tradition, its own character and symbol. For example, the 1st lunar day is good for ideas and planning; some days are considered energetically strong and favorable for beginnings, while others are days for caution and rest. The first lunar day begins at the new moon. The number of the lunar day is traditionally used to choose what to do: a haircut, important conversations, starting projects. Honest framing: The characteristics of lunar days are a folk-esoteric tradition, not a science. As a system of rhythms and reminders, many find it convenient. For the number and description of the current lunar day, see the moon calendar.
