This free chakra calculator works out the capacity of your energy centers from your date of birth alone — the seven chakras from Muladhara to Sahasrara, six of them expressed as a percentage. You will see your chakra profile, the Yin/Yang and Want/Can balance, your personality type among nine archetypes, the six twelve-year life periods with the one you are in now, and a chakra forecast for the year and the month. The calculation is deterministic: the same date of birth always returns the same result. No registration, no birth time, no payment.

Muladhara
Element: Earth
Crown
Sahasrara
Location: Crown of the head · Element: Beyond the five elements
Meaning and belonging to something larger than the personality. Traditionally treated as a dimension outside quantitative scales — which is why the calculator marks it with infinity.
Third Eye
Ajna
Location: Between the eyebrows · Element: Beyond the five elements
Reflection and insight. Associated with imagination, noticing patterns and the habit of observing yourself rather than only reacting.
Throat
Vishuddha
Location: Base of the throat · Element: Ether (space)
Honest expression. The center of the voice — saying what is true for you, listening to others, and the distance between what you think and what you actually say.
Heart
Anahata
Location: Centre of the chest · Element: Air
Warmth, acceptance and the capacity for closeness. Linked with empathy, forgiveness and the balance between giving and receiving.
Solar Plexus
Manipura
Location: Above the navel · Element: Fire
Will and agency. The zone of boundaries, motivation and self-assertion — how readily you turn an intention into action and say no when you mean it.
Sacral
Svadhisthana
Location: Lower abdomen, below the navel · Element: Water
Pleasure, spontaneity and emotional flow. Associated with desire, playfulness and the ease of letting feelings move instead of freezing them.
Root
Muladhara
Location: Base of the spine · Element: Earth
Groundedness and the sense of basic safety. Describes your relationship with stability, routine and the material foundation of life — the part of you that answers the question "am I on solid ground?"
The result is produced by Avatarium's own deterministic algorithm from your date of birth alone. It is a tool for self-knowledge and reflection — not a medical diagnosis and not a prediction of the future.
Frequently asked questions
What are chakras and how many are there?
Chakras are energy centers described in the yogic tradition, arranged along the spine from the base to the crown. Classical texts most often count seven main centers, from Muladhara to Sahasrara, each linked with a distinct area of experience. Avatarium works with this seven-center map and calculates six of them numerically — the crown center is treated as a dimension beyond measurement.
Can chakras be calculated from a date of birth?
Numerically, yes — that is exactly what this calculator does. Your date of birth is converted into a number series, and each center receives a value on a 0–100 scale. This is a symbolic model rather than a measurement of anything physical: the date is a stable starting point for reflection, and the same date always produces the same profile.
What does the capacity percentage mean?
It shows how strongly a given center is expressed inside your own profile, not in comparison with other people. A high number points to a zone that comes naturally and that you lean on; a low one points to a zone that asks for more conscious attention. There is no good or bad score here — only distribution.
Why is Sahasrara not calculated?
The crown center is traditionally described as the connection to something larger than the personality, and that dimension does not fit a 0–100 scale. Rather than invent a number for it, the calculator marks Sahasrara with the infinity symbol. All six remaining centers are calculated, which is enough for a full picture of how your energy is distributed.
Which chakra is the main or leading one?
There is no universally main chakra. In this model two things matter: the center with the highest capacity in your profile, and the leading chakra of your current twelve-year life period. The first describes a lasting tendency, the second the theme of the chapter you are living now — and they are often different, which is where the reading gets interesting.
What does a weak or blocked chakra mean?
In this model a low value says nothing about your body or your health. It describes a zone that is less automatic for you — a low Vishuddha may show up as a habit of staying silent when something matters, a low Manipura as difficulty holding a boundary. Treat it as a prompt for attention, not as a defect to fix.
Can the values be changed?
The base profile is tied to your date of birth and stays the same. What does move is the year and month forecast, which recalculates the same six centers for the current period. And the way you work with any center — how you express yourself, hold boundaries or rest — is entirely up to you, whatever the number says.
How is this different from the destiny matrix?
Both are built from the date of birth, but they answer different questions. The destiny matrix describes tasks, roles and life scenarios through the arcana. The chakra calculation describes how energy is distributed across seven centers — where your attention flows easily and where it does not. They complement each other and are often read side by side.
What do Yin and Yang mean in this calculation?
Yang is the average of Muladhara, Manipura and Vishuddha — the centers of action, will and expression. Yin averages Svadhisthana, Anahata and Ajna — perception, feeling and reflection. Their balance shows whether you more readily act on the world or take it in. Neither pole is better than the other; a marked lean is simply information about your style.
What does the year forecast show?
It recalculates the same six centers for your current year, blending your base profile with the value of that year. The result is not a prediction of events but a shift of emphasis: which centers are highlighted this year compared with your baseline. The month forecast does the same on a shorter horizon and therefore moves faster.
Is the time of birth needed?
No. The model uses only the calendar date — day, month and year. Time of birth, place and gender are not part of the mathematics, so you need neither a birth certificate nor an exact hour to get a complete result. It also means the profile is fully reproducible: the same date always returns the same numbers.
Is this scientific?
No, and we say so plainly. The chakra system belongs to a spiritual and cultural tradition, not to medicine or natural science, and the calculation is a deterministic symbolic model built by Avatarium. Treat it as a structured mirror for self-reflection — useful for noticing patterns and asking better questions, never as a diagnosis or a forecast of events.
