Observing combinations of identical numbers on a clock and how to turn this into a playful practice to develop mindfulness.

Well, at least that’s what the Internet says, and I’m okay with that?⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

Every day several times I see combinations of the same numbers on the clock: ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

11:11⠀

14:14⠀

21:21⠀

And so on. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

Moreover, lately I’ve started to see regularly, even on analog watches, the moment when the hands are in line, hour and minute. ⠀ ⠀

Of course, I don’t sit specifically waiting for such a moment. I just happen to glance at my watch and see such coincidences. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

You can even find decryptions of the meanings of each combination of numbers in articles from the internet, but that’s not why I’m writing this post. ⠀ ⠀

Although, I’ve really noticed that the better I feel about myself in life, the more often I see these combinations?⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀

But the most important thing I want to share, I’ve made it a playful practice of developing mindfulness and maintaining a good state of mind.⠀ ⠀ ⠀

Every time this “fluke” happens and I see the same numbers, I do a gratitude practice. ⠀ ⠀

You can do it very quickly, or you can play around and mentally register as much gratitude as the time on the clock.⠀

To this I also add self-tuning, taking such randomness as a sign that I’m going in the right direction and everything’s cool. ⠀

Bottom line is that every day I have this kind of game practice, which helps keep me in good condition and which is always interesting because it happens at an unexpected moment. ⠀
