What are the Centers in Human Design?

The Centers are nine energy zones in the bodygraph (similar to chakras); each governs a specific function: willpower, emotions, intuition, communication, and others.

✔ Avatarium breakdown
The Centers in Human Design are nine energy zones in the bodygraph, similar to chakras. Each governs a specific function: the Head – inspiration and questions; the Ajna – mind and concepts; the Throat – communication and manifestation; the G Center – identity, love, and direction; the Heart (Ego) – willpower and self-worth; the Sacral – life and work energy; the Spleen – intuition, instinct, health; the Solar Plexus – emotions; the Root – pressure, stress, drive.

Centers can be defined (colored in) – stable, your own consistent energy, or open – where you are receptive and learn from the world.

Honest framing: this is a symbolic map for self-knowledge, not science. You can see your own centers by generating your chart in the Human Design section.
