Waning Moon: what is favorable to do?
The Waning Moon is a time of completion and cleansing: it is good for finishing things, letting go of excess, and restoring order.
What is favorable: completing what you started and "closing tails," restoring order and getting rid of the unnecessary, cleansings and cleanups, giving up harmful habits, diets and lightening the load, haircuts if you want to slow hair growth, as well as forgiveness and releasing the old.
The logic is the same as with the waxing moon, only in reverse: the Moon wanes—and the excess leaves.
Honest framing: this is a tradition and a convenient rhythm-guide, not proven science. As an anchor for "time to declutter," it can be quite helpful. Check the current phase in the moon calendar.
