Which is more important — the Sun sign or the Moon sign?

In astrology, the Sun sign (that very 'zodiac sign' from horoscopes) is about your essence, will, where you are growing, and how you express yourself. The Moon sign is about emotions, the subconscious, childhood habits, and what you need to feel secure. So you cannot say one is 'more important': they are about different things. Often people 'don't recognize themselves' in the description of their Sun sign precisely because they feel the Moon or other points in the chart more strongly. For the Moon, unlike the Sun, you need the time and, ideally, the place of birth. Honest framing: an ordinary horoscope based on the Sun sign is a strong simplification; the real picture is formed from the whole chart.
