A bodygraph requires date, exact time, and place of birth — from these, a map of centers and channels is built; time is crucial here, unlike in the Destiny Matrix.

To build a Human Design chart (bodygraph), you need three pieces of data: date of birth, exact time of birth, and place (city). Time is fundamental here — even a difference of a couple of hours can change the chart, so it is best to know it as precisely as possible (from a birth certificate).
From this data, a map is constructed: nine centers (analogous to chakras), channels and gates between them, as well as your type, strategy, authority, and profile. Defined (colored-in) centers represent your stable energy; open centers are zones where you are receptive to others.
If the exact time is unknown, building a full HD chart is difficult. Honest framing: HD is a model of self-knowledge, not a science. You can build your chart in the Human Design section (and if you don't have a birth time — build a Destiny Matrix using just the date).
