What does a horoscope (natal chart) consist of?

A full horoscope is not just your sun sign: it includes planets, houses, the ascendant, and aspects, calculated from your date, time, and place of birth.

✔ Avatarium breakdown
The familiar “horoscope by sign” is just the tip of the iceberg. A complete individual horoscope (natal chart) is made up of many elements. Planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and others) each govern a specific sphere: the Sun your essence, the Moon your emotions, Venus your love, Mars your action. Zodiac signs “color” the planets. Houses (12 sectors) show in which life areas everything unfolds. The Ascendant is your “mask.” Aspects are the angles between planets, their interaction. This is why two people with the same zodiac sign can be completely different: they have different Moons, Venuses, and houses. A full chart requires the date, exact time, and place of birth. Honest framing: this is a symbolic system, not a science. If the birth time is unknown, the Destiny Matrix is more convenient using just the date.
