Why do I feel guilty about needing alone time around Fe types?

Every time I try to explain that I recharge by being alone, the Fe-doms in my life take it personally, like I'm rejecting them. Is this just an Fe vs Fi thing, or am I wording it badly?

Because Fe types often read withdrawal as silent rejection, so their hurt expression can make your totally normal need for space feel like a betrayal you have to manage.
