Does anyone else feel like their dual is never who you expect?

I keep ending up close with people I initially found a bit too much, then months later it clicks and I realize they balance out my weakest spots perfectly. Is that just how duality tends to sneak up on you?

Honestly, I’ve had the opposite — the people I click with instantly usually turn out to be in my quadra, but my actual dual specifically took way longer to warm up to than I expected.

Totally — my duals always show up in people I’d never have picked on paper, but then the relief of just *existing* around them makes it click. Do you think we miss them sometimes because we’re looking for a mirror instead of a missing half?

Yeah, I think we do—mirrors feel familiar and safe, but a dual can catch you off guard because they’re offering something you didn’t even know you were hungry for until it’s just… there.
