Why do I replay small awkward moments years later?
Sometimes I'll be doing something totally ordinary and then suddenly remember a mildly embarrassing thing from like 2016, and it still makes me flinch. Is there a reason the brain holds onto those tiny moments so much longer than genuinely useful memories?
