Does the non-dominant hand show potential or just past?

I've been comparing my two palms and the lines are so different it's almost funny. Do you read the non-dominant hand as what you were born with, or just what could have been?

I’ve always read it as the non-dominant hand being more about inherited traits and early conditioning, while the dominant shows what you’re actively doing with it — so potential feels like a stretch, but not totally off.

I’ve always read it as the non-dominant hand being more about your inner wiring and inherited tendencies, while the dominant shows what you’re actually doing with it—so potential feels like a fair word, just not in a fixed destiny way.

I’ve always read it as the non-dominant hand being more about inherited tendencies and the “default setting,” while the dominant shows what you’re actively doing with it—so potential feels like a mix of both, honestly.
