Do the lines really change, or is that just my imagination?

I used to think the lines on my palms were totally fixed, but lately the little ones near my thumb look different than I remember. Has anyone else noticed small changes over a few years?

Yeah, the major lines tend to stay pretty stable, but I’ve noticed the fine secondary lines shift with stress or big life changes — what part of your hand do you think changed the most?

I’d say the area between my heart and head lines — all those fine cross-hatched stress lines — seems to shift the most, fading once life settles again.

They do shift, but it’s usually so gradual that noticing a sudden change makes you second-guess yourself. I think stress and big life events can show up subtly over months, not days.
