Struggling with the whole 'wait to be invited' strategy as a Projector

Reading about my strategy being to wait for recognition and invitation instead of just going after things has been a weird adjustment. Feels passive compared to how I normally operate. Does it get easier or am I just not doing it right?

Not a projector myself but my partner is and watching them wait things out instead of chasing has been interesting to see play out over time

It felt backwards to me at first too, but honestly once I stopped forcing things into rooms I wasn't invited to, less friction showed up
