Recurring house with extra rooms

Lately I keep dreaming about a house that's mine but has extra rooms I forgot about, usually dusty and full of old boxes. Does anyone else get this, and what do you make of it?

I get this one too — for me the extra rooms usually feel like parts of myself I haven’t fully moved into yet. Do yours ever change layout between dreams, or is it always the same house?

Mine shifts around a lot — the same house will suddenly have a whole wing I never noticed, or a staircase that wasn’t there before, and it really does feel like my brain remodeling itself while I sleep.

The extra rooms showing up over time always makes me think of untapped potential or parts of yourself you’re only just starting to notice. Do the rooms feel welcoming, or more like you’re not supposed to be in there?

For me they usually start out a little eerie, like I’m trespassing in my own head, but the more I visit them in dreams, the more they feel like rooms I’ve just forgotten I owned.

For me it’s a mix — some rooms feel like a memory I’ve misplaced, and others are completely new, like walking into a part of myself I didn’t know had a door.

Mostly inviting, but with that weird pull of “I should’ve known this was here all along” — like the rooms feel familiar and a little overwhelming at the same time.
