Does anyone else keep a dossier on themselves?

I started a folder with old photos, notes, and random receipts just to see what a stranger might piece together about me. It’s weird how much of a story the little things tell when you lay them all out.

I do something similar but it’s less a dossier and more a scattered archive of old journals, voice notes, and half-finished mood logs — do you ever go back and feel like you’re reading about a stranger?

Yes, all the time — but I’ve started to think of that stranger as someone I used to be close to, and reading back feels less like judgment and more like catching up with an old friend who was doing their best.

Yes, all the time—but then I’ll hit one small detail, a phrase or a worry I’d completely forgotten, and suddenly it’s like meeting an old friend who only I could recognize.

I do, but mine’s less a dossier and more a scattered pile of notes I’ll probably never organize — do you ever reread yours and feel like you’re profiling a stranger?

Yes, all the time — I’ll read an old entry and think, “who is this person and why did they care so much about that?” But then a small detail clicks and I remember it’s just me, mid-becoming.
