Does anyone else keep a dossier on their own past selves?

I found a folder from five years ago where I'd written down all my strong opinions and tiny daily rituals, and reading it felt like studying a stranger. Do you ever keep a file like that, and does it help you understand how you got here or just make you feel more split?

I do this too, but mostly for dreams and half-remembered obsessions that felt urgent at the time. It’s weird how a single line from a past self can feel like a note from a stranger who knows all your passwords.
