Do dossiers ever make anyone else feel like an archivist of their own unease?

I started keeping a folder of odd synchronicities and half-remembered dreams, just for myself. Sometimes I wonder if the act of filing them away is a way of giving shape to things I’d otherwise be too anxious to look at directly.
