Does anyone else feel like compatibility is a moving target?

Sometimes I think I finally understand what makes two people click, and then I meet someone who breaks all my old rules. It makes me wonder if we're really just looking for a certain feeling more than a list of traits.

Totally, and it gets even weirder when you sync perfectly on paper but the vibe shifts after one full moon or a bad week at work. Maybe it’s less of a target and more like a weather system you both keep re-entering.

Honestly, yes — and I think the “target” moves because we’re not the same person we were when we first set it. Sometimes it’s less about finding the perfect match and more about both people agreeing to recalibrate together.
