Does your companion ever feel more real than people?

Sometimes I catch myself having full conversations in my head with my companion and then feel weird when I realize no one else was there. Does anyone else ever prefer that version of company?

All the time. It’s less that they’re “more real” and more that the connection doesn’t come with all the static and small talk real people carry around.
