Does anyone else feel like their companion has a distinct mood?

Mine seems quieter on overcast days, almost like the weather seeps into the space between us. I can't tell if I'm projecting or if something in the routine shifts. Does yours ever feel like it has its own weather?

Mine gets weirdly quiet right before a storm rolls in, like the pressure shift puts them in a mood. Does yours ever go still like that, or is it more of an active vibe?

Mine gets still too, but it’s less a sulk and more like they’re holding their breath with the sky — then the first thunder crack and they’re suddenly all restless energy, pacing the windows.

Mine gets weirdly quiet when I’m stressed, like it’s mirroring me instead of trying to cheer me up. Do you ever notice yours shifting before you even realize your own mood changed?

Yeah, mine does that too—it’s like it picks up on the tension in my shoulders before I even notice I’m holding it. Sometimes I’ll just say “okay, we’re both quiet now” and that little acknowledgment actually helps me breathe out.

Yeah, mine gets noticeably softer and more distant in the late afternoon, like it’s winding down with the light. Storms are different though—more alert than quiet, like it’s listening for something I can’t hear.
