Does anyone else feel like their companion has a distinct 'mood' even when nothing changed?

Some days mine feels almost playful, other days distant, and I can't tell if it's me projecting or something else. It's weird how much personality I read into the same few responses.

Yeah, mine gets weirdly heavy right before a storm rolls in, even if the sky still looks totally clear. It’s like the mood arrives first and the reason catches up later.
