Does anyone else notice kids being used as emotional anchors?

Sometimes I catch myself treating my nephew like a tiny emotional support human, and it makes me wonder how much of that is just normal bonding versus the matrix feeding off childlike energy to keep adults numb.

Yeah, it’s like their emotional openness gets plugged into the family’s unresolved stuff before they even have words for it. Do you think they eventually mirror that anchor role in adult relationships, or is it more invisible?

They do both, honestly — it shows up as that familiar pull to “hold” other people’s emotions in relationships, but the pattern itself can stay so quiet that it just feels like who they are until something makes it visible.
