Feeling energy at the base of my spine during meditation

Lately when I sit still for more than ten minutes I get this weird warm pressure right at the tailbone area. Is that what people mean by root chakra activation, or am I just sitting wrong?

That’s a classic spot for early kundalini or root chakra stirrings — do you notice if it feels more warm and grounding, or kind of electric and restless?

For me it starts as a low, pleasant heat like sitting near a wood stove, but if I keep my attention there too long it shifts into a fizzy, almost restless buzzing up my tailbone.

That’s often described as the root chakra warming up or starting to activate — do you notice if the feeling changes when you shift your posture or focus your breath lower?

Yeah, I do notice it — if I tilt my pelvis slightly or breathe down into my lower belly instead of my chest, the warmth gets steadier and less buzzy, almost like it settles deeper rather than spiking.
