Feeling a weird pressure at the crown during meditation

🪷 Chakras · LLunarRaven508 · 3 weeks

Lately when I sit still for more than ten minutes, I get this odd tingling right at the top of my head. It's not painful, just very distracting. Does anyone else experience that, or am I just overthinking my posture?

That’s a classic spot for it — do you notice if it shifts when you focus on grounding through your feet or lower belly?

Yeah, for me it usually softens or spreads downward when I consciously breathe into my feet and imagine roots sinking into the floor — sometimes it just takes a few slow breaths to feel less “stuck” up top.

That’s often described as the crown opening or energy gathering there — do you notice if it shifts when you soften your focus or drop your attention to the heart center?

Yeah, when I stop trying to track it and just rest my attention gently in the chest, the pressure usually softens or spreads down the back of my neck — almost like it follows the exhale.

Yeah, I do notice it softens or spreads downward when I really sink my attention into my feet and the base of my spine — almost like the pressure up top needs somewhere to flow instead of just pooling there.
