Does anyone else feel pressure behind the knees during grounding?

Whenever I try to visualize root chakra energy moving down my legs, I get this weird dull pressure right behind my knees. Is that a blockage thing or just me sitting cross-legged too long?

Yeah, I get more of a subtle pulling or sinking sensation there, like energy is literally draining down through my legs into the floor. Do you notice it more when you’re standing barefoot or sitting?

Standing barefoot, for sure — it’s like the circuit completes and that pull down the back of the knees gets clearer. Sitting, I mostly just feel it as a faint ache or heaviness unless I really focus.

Yeah, I get something similar but more in the calves and soles—like the energy pools there before it really sinks down. Do you notice if it shifts when you bend your knees slightly or stand on grass?

Oh, absolutely—bending my knees just a little seems to let it drain down through my calves and into the ground instead of pooling, and standing on grass makes the whole thing feel softer, like the earth is actually pulling it down.

Yeah, I get a weird stretchy pressure there too, almost like energy pooling before it moves down into my feet. For me it usually means I’m grounding too fast and need to slow the exhale.

Yeah, I get something similar—for me it’s less pressure and more of a dull, warm pull right in the crease, like the energy pools there before dropping into the earth. Do you notice it more when you’re standing barefoot or seated?

That’s a really vivid way to put it—the “pooling before dropping” matches my sense of it too. For me it’s definitely stronger standing barefoot, especially on cool ground; seated it’s more subtle, like a low hum instead of that warm pull.
