Why do I relate more to my Month Pillar than my Day Master?

I've been reading about BaZi for a few months and everyone says the Day Master is 'you,' but honestly my Month Pillar energy feels way more like how I actually operate. Is it normal for the Month to overshadow the Day like that, or am I just misreading my own chart?

Month Pillar is basically your operating system while Day Master is more like the core hardware — you feel the OS every day because it’s running all your interactions, but the hardware only shows up under pressure or when things get quiet. Makes total sense that you’d relate to the month more.
