Lately I’ve been catching myself narrating my own reactions as if my Hurting Officer and Direct Resource are two roommates arguing over the same apartment. Does anyone else experience their chart as distinct inner voices rather than just abstract labels?

Totally—on days when my Eating God is strong I catch myself narrating everything like a food critic, and when Direct Resource shows up it’s like a gentle librarian in my head suggesting I reread the same paragraph twice.
